Bringing Veterinary Care to Your Doorstep

While in clinic care has been the normal for most clients, patients and doctors alike, Dr. Wilson has found the necessity for in home care for many reasons. One reason is convenience for clients who can not travel with their pets. Another is providing flexibility to those who have prior commitments throughout the day. One major reasoning is for the comfort of the pets and their owners while experiencing the normalcy of their own environment. This will allow them more vulnerability and comfort to exhibit signs that they may not exhibit in clinic.

Giving back to the community that needs this type of care is the ultimate goal. Dr. Wilson believes her key to providing immaculate care to her patients and clients is understanding that everyone has a story to tell. Being relatable and having something to share creates relationships that are genuine and last forever.

Meet Dr. Erma Ayanna Wilson

A Lifelong Passion for Caring and Healing

Dr. Erma Ayanna Wilson is a Jackson, MS native with deep roots in Louisiana. She grew up loving and caring for animals starting before she could remember. She always knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian and did everything to meet that dream. To be able to provide a voice to the voiceless and gift people with the reassurance that their fur babies will be taken care of.

She found her love fulfilled at the prominent Mother Tuskegee University where she became a three time graduate, fulfilling the undergraduate, graduate and doctorate of Veterinary Medicine programs. Although she has extended her practice over a lifetime, she has been a practicing veterinarian for nearly a decade. She is more than excited to share her gifts with her community.
